Privacy Policy Contest

NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO VIEW THESE RULES. A COMPLETED VEHICLE SHIPMENT AND A SUBMITTED VIDEO TESTIMONIAL ARE REQUIRED TO ENTER.  

This is a skill‑based contest; winners are selected by judging, not by random chance.

Void where prohibited. By entering, you agree to these Official Rules.

1. SPONSOR

SGT Auto Transport Corp, 80 Orville Dr., Suite 100, Bohemia, NY 11716 (“Sponsor,” “we,” “us”).

2. CONTEST PERIOD

The Contest begins on 06/16/2026 7:00 AM EST and ends on 09/08/2026 7:00 AM EST (“Contest Period”), divided into twelve (12) consecutive weekly entry periods. Each weekly period runs Monday 7:00 AM to Sunday 9:00 PM EST. Sponsor’s clock is the official timekeeper.

3. ELIGIBILITY

Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and D.C., age 18+ (or age of majority in their state). Employees, officers, contractors, and agents of Sponsor and their immediate family/household members are not eligible.

Void where prohibited or restricted.

4. HOW TO ENTER

To enter a weekly period, you must:

1. Book a vehicle shipment directly with Sponsor and have that shipment fully completed (vehicle delivered);
2. Within 24 hours of delivery, record an original video testimonial of approximately 30–90 seconds describing your shipping experience;
3. Submit the video to [email protected], including your full name, booking number, and delivery date.

Entries are assigned to the weekly period in which the completed video is received.

Limit: One (1) entry per completed shipment; one (1) prize per person/household for the entire Contest.

5. TESTIMONIAL REQUIREMENTS

Your testimonial must reflect your truthful, genuine experience. A positive review is not required and does not improve your chance of winning.

Entries must be human‑created; AI‑generated or AI‑altered videos are prohibited.

Entries may not contain unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or infringing content.

6. JUDGING (SKILL‑BASED)

Eligible entries received during each weekly period will be judged by a panel of Sponsor representatives based on:

• Clarity & communication: 40%
• Authenticity & detail: 40%
• Overall production/intelligibility: 20%

The highest‑scoring entry wins.

Ties are broken by the highest authenticity score.

If no eligible entries are received in a week, that week’s prize will roll over to the next week or be awarded at Sponsor’s discretion.

7. PRIZES

Twelve (12) total prizes, one per weekly period.

Each prize is a reimbursement of the winner’s actual transportation cost for the qualifying shipment, up to $2,500 USD.

“Transportation cost” means the amount actually paid to Sponsor for the vehicle’s transport, including deposits, broker fees, optional add‑on services, and taxes. If the cost is less than $2,500, only the actual cost is reimbursed.

Total maximum prize pool ARV: $30,000.  

The Contest will end when all twelve prizes are awarded or when the total ARV reaches $30,000, whichever occurs first.

Prizes are paid by company check / ACH / refund within 30 days of winner verification.

8. ODDS

Odds depend on the number and quality of eligible entries received each week.

9. WINNER NOTIFICATION & VERIFICATION

Potential winners will be notified first by [email protected] and/or (828) 785-5200 within five (5) business days after weekly judging.

A potential winner must respond within five (5) business days.

Before a prize is awarded, the winner must:

• Verify the shipment was completed
• Provide a completed IRS Form W‑9
• Sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release

Failure to comply results in forfeiture; Sponsor may select the next highest‑scoring entry.

10. TAXES

Winners are responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes.

Prizes of $600+ may be reported to the IRS via Form 1099.

11. RIGHTS TO VIDEO, NAME & LIKENESS

By entering, you grant Sponsor a perpetual, worldwide, royalty‑free, irrevocable, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, edit, publish, and display your video, name, voice, likeness, city/state, and statements in any media for advertising and promotional purposes.

You represent that:

• The video is your original work
• You own all rights to its content
• No minors appear without parental consent
• The video does not infringe any third‑party rights

You waive any moral rights to the extent permitted by law.

12. PRIVACY

Information collected is used to administer the Contest and is handled per Sponsor’s Privacy Policy at HERE.

13. FTC DISCLOSURE / MATERIAL CONNECTION

Sponsor will disclose that testimonials used in advertising were submitted as part of a contest (e.g., “Submitted as part of our 12‑Year Anniversary Contest”).

14. GENERAL CONDITIONS

Sponsor may disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, violates these Rules, or submits fraudulent, misleading, or AI‑generated content.

Sponsor may modify, suspend, or cancel the Contest if fraud, technical issues, or any factor beyond its control impairs integrity or feasibility.

15. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

By entering, you release Sponsor and its affiliates from liability arising from participation or prize use, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

16. GOVERNING LAW / DISPUTES

These Rules are governed by the laws of the State of New York.

Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Suffolk County, NY.
