We pick up your vehicle

A few hours before your car is scheduled to be picked up, your assigned carrier will get in touch to confirm the details. You’ll also need to clarify that the pick-up location is safe and legal for large commercial vehicles. If it’s not, you can make alternative arrangements, such as a wider street nearby, a parking lot, or even outside where you work. The call is also to confirm someone will be available to release the vehicle. If you can’t be there, you can nominate a neighbor, friend, relative, or work colleague to represent you.

Before your vehicle is loaded onto the trailer, you and the driver have to inspect your precious cargo. You’ll record any existing external damage on the Bill of Lading (BOL), sign it, and then keep your copy safe.

Your precious cargo is then loaded onto the auto relocation trailer. It’s now time to wave goodbye to your baby. Rest assured, your vehicle will be treated with the utmost care and attention, but you can contact the driver at any time during its journey, just in case you need to put your mind at rest. You can also receive regular updates regarding the status of your car relocation service. This can be done by email, Live Chat, or phone.

You receive your vehicle

It won’t be long before the day arrives for the delivery. You’ll get a few hours notice from the carrier, so you can make sure you’re available. If you’re going to be otherwise engaged, you can nominate someone to accept delivery on your behalf. They have to be over 18 years of age, but they could be a neighbor, friend, relative, acquaintance, or work colleague.

One final inspection, just to make sure everything’s in order, and the last thing to do is sign the Bill of Lading to accept your delivery. For Discounted Cash Price orders, the balance now has to be paid. You can pay using cash, a cashier’s check, or money order.
