We pick up your vehicle

Your assigned fast car shipping carrier will contact you a few hours before your scheduled pick-up. As well as confirming the details of your pick-up, the driver also needs to know whether the location is safe and legal for a large commercial vehicle. It’s not an issue if it isn’t because alternative arrangements can be made, such as a parking lot, a wider street nearby, or where you work. The call is also to check someone will be available to release the vehicle. You can nominate a third-party to act on your behalf, such as a neighbor, friend, relative, or work colleague, if you can’t be present at the pick-up.

You and the express auto transport driver will first inspect your vehicle. Any existing damage to the exterior of the vehicle gets recorded on the Bill of Lading. You both sign this important document and your vehicle is then ready for loading. Remember to keep your copy of the Bill of Lading somewhere safe.

Say goodbye to your precious vehicle and they’ll load it onto the express auto transport trailer. It won’t be long before you see it again at its delivery destination, but if you need reassurance, you can check in any time with the driver. You receive your vehicle

The last minute car transport carrier will get in touch a few hours before they make their delivery. They like to give you a few hours notice so you can make sure you’re available. If you’re not, it’s not a problem because you can nominate a neighbor, friend, acquaintance, or colleague to accept delivery on your behalf. They do, however, have to be over 18 years of age.

After a close inspection of your vehicle, just to make sure everything’s in order, you’ve then got to sign the Bill of Lading, as acceptance of your delivery. If you opted for the Discounted Cash Price, this is when you make your final payment, either in cash, money order, or cashier check.
