Top US Car Shows Taking Place in February 2024

Since Ford launched the Model T in 1908, cars have had a special place in America’s heart. They are also been an inspiration, a design love, and an adrenaline-pumping machine.
As a nation of automobile lovers, an excuse to come together and talk about all things car-related is not to be missed, and this coming February, there are countless opportunities.
Auto shows and motoring events are the perfect place to get up close and personal with the latest supercar releases, watch some unbelievable motorsport, rediscover old classics, and possibly even chat with some of the world’s best drivers from F1 to Nascar.
If you’re not sure which ones to attend, here’s a quick rundown of what’s coming up over the next few weeks.
1. Grand National Roadster Show - February 2-4
Fairplex, Pomona, CA
The Grand National Roadster Show (GNRS) is celebrating its 74th year and is the longest-running indoor car show in the world. For the 19th consecutive year, the event is being held at the Fairplex in Pomona.
This annual indoor car show features over 500 show vehicles that compete for awards, as well as 400-800 drive-in vehicles.
The GNRS is best known as home to the America’s Most Beautiful Roadster Award. It is presented to the best pre-1937 vehicle in the show and has been won by many well-known car designers and builders, such as Carl Casper, Blackie, Gejeian, Chip Foose, and Boyd Coddington.
2. Atlantic City Classic Car Show - February 9-11
Location: Atlantic City Convention Center, Atlantic City, NJ
The Atlantic City Classic Car Show takes place every year at the Atlantic City Convention Center. It’s a great opportunity for classic car enthusiasts to browse a wide array of cars being showcased and participate in the auction featuring over 400 cars.
Visitors to the show can explore a wide variety of classic cars from different eras, as well as get up close and personal with some of the most iconic and sought-after models.
Exhibitors also have the chance to showcase their vehicles to a large audience and potentially make a sale.
The Atlantic City Classic Car Show is the perfect place to find a unique piece of automotive history or to learn more about the classic car industry. Whether you’re a collector, a car enthusiast, or a potential buyer, this show has something for everyone.
3. Chicago Auto Show - February 10-19
Location: McCormick Place, Chicago, IL
The Chicago Auto Show is the largest and longest-running auto show in the United States. It is held annually in Chicago, Illinois. It features multiple world and North American introductions and a complete range of domestic and imported passenger cars, trucks, sports-utility vehicles, minivans, and experimental and concept cars.
The show is held in McCormick Place and spans over 1 million square feet of exhibit space, where visitors can find more than 1000 vehicles, technology displays, and hands-on driving experiences.
The 2024 Chicago Auto Show will be held from February 10 to February 19, 2024, and will feature indoor and outdoor ride-and-drives, electric vehicle test drives and education, and special themed days.
4. North Texas Auto Expo - February 22-25
Location: Hutchison Convention Center, Dallas, TX
The North Texas Auto Show, now known as the North Texas Auto Expo will be held at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center and will feature major auto exhibitors, an EV test track, and much more.
According to the event website, Audi, Chevrolet, Ford, Kia, and Nissan will be testing their latest EVs on the EV test track.
5. Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance - February 29- Mar 3
Location: The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island, FL
The Amelia and Amelia Island Concours week is one of the rites of spring for true car lovers. Headlined by The Amelia - Concours d’Elegance, the week includes events and auctions for the true “aficionauto!”
This world-renowned automotive event is packed with seminars, films, parties, auctions, free Ride & Drives, and the renowned Concours d’Elegance, where you’ll get an up-close look at hundreds of vehicles you won’t see anywhere else.
This year's event will feature a special display from Rick Hendricks’s collection, including the Garage 56 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 prepared especially for the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The event will also have a RADwood exhibit, which will showcase a record number of ‘80s and ‘90s vehicles, live ‘80s music, RAD awards, and guests dressed in the era’s most epic styles.
The event will have a variety of classes, including 250 Ferrari Touring, Bugatti Type 57, and Cars of Pikes Peak.
