With open car transport, your vehicle is loaded onto a double decker transport trailer along with several others for the best possible routing and efficiency. It does leave your vehicle exposed to weather, but it’s by far the most cost-effective auto logistics system. 

Enclosed car transport: if you’ve got a rare, high-dollar, or very fragile car, it’s understandable that you might need more protection and security for it, for your own peace of mind. That’s where enclosed car transport is a great idea; your vehicle is loaded into a closed trailer and then locked in, making sure it’s protected against weather and curious passersby on all four sides. Enclosed car transport does come at an enhanced cost, but it can be worth it.

Please be sure your battery is fully charged, all four tires are inflated, and headlights and taillights work.

Give your car a good wash job; the driver will ask you to do an inspection (he will too, for the Bill of Lading report). A clean vehicle makes it easier to spot any minor scrapes or dings before shipping.
