Wash your car: For the car hauler to properly conduct the condition report, also known as the BOL (Bill of Lading), you’ll need your car to be clean enough to easily notice any scratches, dents, or any other visible damage. Remove your personal belongings: While your vehicle itself will be fully insured during the transportation process, the same isn’t the case for your personal belongings. Because of this, we highly recommend removing any personal items of yours that may be inside of your vehicle prior to shipping it. If you absolutely must leave some belongings in your car, however, please note that it cannot be more than 100 pounds worth of items and must be kept in either your trunk or cargo area.
