Open car transport: this is the choice of most customers when they need an Idaho car shipping company. It’s the most cost-effective way to go, with your car loaded onto a double-decker transport trailer along with several others. It leaves your car exposed to the elements, but it’s safe and affordable. 

Enclosed car transport: many customers feel a need for enhanced protection and security, and enclosed car transport is perfect for a rare, fragile or high-dollar vehicle. It’s a scenario where your car is loaded into a closed trailer and locked in for the duration of the trip, so it’s protected on all sides. Enclosed car transport does come at a premium cost, and availability of drivers can be difficult. 

Guaranteed pickup and delivery: especially if you’re embroiled in the details of relocating, your time is valuable and we respect that. We offer pickup that’s guaranteed at a specified time and date, and dropoff that’s also locked-in as far as scheduling.

Express car shipping: to get the best rates and routing, we always ask for a couple of weeks heads-up when setting up your auto logistics needs. We know that’s not always possible, though, so we can help with hotshot, short-notice shipments (premium charges apply). 

Door-to-door shipping: like the phrase says, we get the transport truck right to your front door and pick up your car at curbside, then dropoff at its destination is at an exact address too.

Cross-country car shipping: we do handle long-distance shipping across several states. It can get expensive, but remember that shipping costs are partly calculated on a cost/mile basis, and cost/mile starts to drop for long distances, making cross-country car shipping a great value. 

Remember that curb weight is a big part of quote calculations. It’s advisable to ship your car with a quarter tank of gas or less, as less fuel means lower weight

Don’t forget the driver will need a copy of the ignition key. 

You’ll get the driver’s mobile phone number - hang onto this, as you will need it. 

Please be sure your car’s battery is charged, all four tires are inflated and the headlights and taillights work. 

If your car can’t start, run, steer and drive on its own power, please let us know in advance. We can (and do) ship non-running vehicles, but special arrangements have to be made to accommodate them. 

Please remove any personal items (although it’s acceptable to secure 100 lbs of personal stuff in the vehicle’s trunk or cargo area)

Please inspect your vehicle for any fluid leaks such as motor oil, power steering, brake fluid, transmission fluid or coolant

You’ll be asked to do a quick inspection of your vehicle before shipping (the driver will as well for his Bill of Lading document); it’s advisable to wash your vehicle first, as it makes it easier to spot minor scrapes or dings

New residents have 90 days to apply for an Idaho driver’s license. If you take your car with you, you must title and register it within 90 days of moving to the state.
